Caterpillar Haul Offs
Caterpillar haul offs are used to pull larger diameter cables through process lines by applying a controlled pressure between two driving belts. The pulling effort of the caterpillar and the type of cable determines the contact length of the belts.
The motor power and surface material of the belts is selected to suit the application.
Typical sizes of caterpillar are 400, 800 and 1600 kg pull.
Small draw out caterpillars are also supplied for handling scrap at start up of processes.
